Beautiful triptych of devotion to the Most Holy Glorious Virgin , in neo-Gothic style, dating from the end of the 19th century .
The central panel depicts the crowned Virgin holding the Infant Jesus , seated majestically beneath finely molded Gothic architecture.
The two opening side panels each house an adoring angel , sculpted in the round, in a gentle and contemplative liturgical attitude.
The figures are made of ivory , a very common material at that time for objects of domestic piety.
The structure is made of patinated wood , with neo-Gothic architectural decoration (arches, trefoils, small columns), resting on a molded base .
This type of triptych was intended for a domestic altar or a private prayer space.
